Three attempts to qualify JEE (Main) 2013
Aspirants will now have three chances to qualify the newly-announced Joint Entrance Exam (Main) to be conducted in the year 2013. The JEE (Main) will determine entry to National Institutes of Technology and centrally-funded engineering colleges, and will be the first stage of the exam prior to JEE Advanced for entry to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Maharashtra Govt and AICTE approved colleges to adopt new JEE
The centralized Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) for engineering colleges across India seems to be gaining popularity. Along with the Centrally Funded Technology Institutes (CFTIs), including IITs and National Institutes of Technology (NITs), it has also been accepted by the Maharashtra government and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It means that engineering colleges in Maharashtra and technical colleges approved by AICTE across India will accept JEE scores from next year.
